I have Host,user and Pass and a repository name of the existing CVS....

My repository name is "phped"

project is "project3"

then in the workspace tab i do
CVS->Status
and all I get is

cvs status: nothing known about `project3'
===================================================================
File: no file project3 Status: Unknown

Working revision: No entry for phped
Repository revision: No revision control file


what's wrong ?

if I do CVS CHECKOUT then it freezes on the progress bar called "waiting cvs..." the -q option doesn't have effect on that problem....

Double check settings related to CVS, check the resulting command line shown in the LOG window, check the server logs.
PHPED's cvs works smooth on existing repositories.

Anyway, without the settings you entered, it's hard to help you.
