Nu-Coder for Linux: where does the .lic file go ?

In what place does nu-coder for linux 2.0ß expect its .lic file ? /etc/ or somewhere in /var/lib/ ?

nu-coder.lic should be in the directory where you placed nu-coder binary.

I have done this; but it seems to work only if the current directory at time of the call to nu-coder is the directory that nu-coder is in.
When calling nu-coder (which is in /usr/local/bin, which is in the PATH) when `pwd` is another directory (e.g. ~ or /var/www), it says "Fatal error: Nu-coder license not found."
