[resolved] WWW root in a sub-directory

I've been evaluating PhpED for a few days now, and I have encountered a deal-breaking problem.

Most of the sites I work on have the web root as a sub-directory of the project. This directory is usually called www. I can't work out how to set the project up so it correctly maps the root on the server (http://localhost/) to the www directory in the project. Is there a way to do this or should I give up now?

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm using phped for 2 years now and I've encountered the same problem of "stut"

My root directory is something like:
/var/www/

In mapping I've "Http mode",
The root url is:
http://mywebserver/
remote root directory is:
/var/www/html/

In /var/www I've other directories with php libraries, logs and so on I won't expose in http.

The paths above are "unix like", on my winxp machine /var/www/ is c:/projects/myproject/var/www/

Could you please help?

Thank you

found solution looking at "example #4" in the mappings section

I followed this example in the past but it seems that to let it working you've to close and open phped after you've changed the settings

thank you,
Black
