Is there a way to display several workspace's in a single view?

I find it awkward when working on multiple projects to move between projects. Perhaps I have the wrong perspective/view on the Workspace vs Projects relationship. Could it be that one workspace can contain many projects instead of the one by one method I have been using. Yes - I am a new user.

umm.. one workspace can contain many projects, right click the workspace, add project.
