I do not know the official facts, but here is my experience....
I am running PhpED 5.8 on Windows 7 RC 64-bit without any problem. My PhpED is a 32-bit application; as far as I know there is no 64-bit version yet. |

I seem to remember that a 64bit version is not possible because of some restraints on the programming language/libraries. It's mentioned somewhere in the forum.
