Hi,
I have setup a terminal account and I'm using it to connect to a Linux Server. I'm using it mainly for tailing logfiles. The problem is that when I want to type any char that needs ALT_GR key, I have systematically special chars and unwanted control chars that are added to command line. This appear for example when I want to type Linux PIPE char "|" in order to use grep to filter tail output.
I'm using a French Keyboard, so pipe char has to be typed by pressing AltGr+6 ("6" on the upper keyboard row).
For example, when I want to type
-sh-3.00$ tail -f runtime_log | grep "Error"
I got
See the special paragraph char before the Pipe "|" char... and it does the same for other chars that needs AltGr to be pressed, I got other special chars ... and these chars are considered by the server and thus the command not accepted.
