I am considering getting a new laptop next month and will be getting Windows 7 installed on it when I get it. However I would like to know if PhpEd has been tested under Windows 7 and if it works okay? I am currently using under vista on my desktop machine so am assuming it will work just as well.

The second question is if there is a 64bit version of PhpEd or if not will the 32bit version run okay under the 64 bit version of Windows 7?

Plenty of time yet but I like to plan early.

I do not know the official facts, but here is my experience....

I am running PhpED 5.8 on Windows 7 RC 64-bit without any problem. My PhpED is a 32-bit application; as far as I know there is no 64-bit version yet.

I can second that.

PhpED 5.8 on 64-bit Windows 7 without any problems or issues whatsoever.

I seem to remember that a 64bit version is not possible because of some restraints on the programming language/libraries. It's mentioned somewhere in the forum.
