SFTP and FTPS are different protocols.
FTP+SSL is a protocol for secure authentication based on SSL/TLS (RFC-2246) and the FTP Security Extensions (RFC-2228). SFTP is an ssh extension that has no relation to FTP (described in respect RFC) protocol at all. SSH and its extensions are describer here http://www.ietf.org/html.charters/secsh-charter.html and SFTP in particular: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-secsh-filexfer-05.txt Regarding PHPED it supports FTP and FTP/SSL (FTPS) only. |
