What to do for new build

Hi,

Just wondering - the new build of Nucoder has been released - what is the recommended way to deploy on a live server when files exist that were encoded with previous version & licenses were generated with previous version.

e.g - after placing the latest php express extension on your server do you need to:

Generate a new license and re encode all files and re upload for them to be compatible with the latest build?

Does a new license file even need to be generated and placed on the server with the new version?

Can existing files be left as is on the server & will they function with a new license created with the latest version?

Thanks

-David

Just update the binaries (phpexpress module in particular). Nothing else.

neither.
PhpExpress is always backward compatible. It will load previously encoded files, according to restrictions, of course. E.g. encoded modules that require license will be loaded only when their license is available, and modules encoded by trial version will expire in 14 days.

Phpexpress does not require any licenses for its work.
NuCoder does.
