I have installed the debugger on an openSUSE version 10.3 64-bit system. The debugger was installed from the YAST repository at openSuse.org and YAST reported that all dependencies were satisfied. I modified the php.ini file as described in the doc in the package and ran phpinfo. The debugger showed up in the top section and there was a new dbg section inserted, so all looked good.

I am using the debugger with phpeclipse and I set up a php debug script in eclipse showing remote debugging. When I launch the script no entry for the php debugger at localhost 10001 appears under the script on the debug view. I've spent hours trying different settings in this script and all produce the same result. Any assistance with a systematic way to track down the problem would be greatly appreciated.
