Color coding for SMARTY-Templates

"Same" as HTML but { and } as delimiters.

Yes, this would be great. I have to use Smarty as well with some existing projects. Would be of great help to me.

Does anybody have anything like BNF diagram for smarty syntax ?
It would be much helpful in development of appropriate highliter.

What is the status of this request?

I too would like this added. Or I could add it myself, if the XML files weren't so horribly formatted (there probably is a reason for this).

i'm trying to debug some smarty pages and the debugger fail to load the compiled smarty files in smarty.class.php because the compiled files looks like this and %%45^45E^45E480CD%%index.tpl.php and the name contains a lot of strange chars

so if any one can help me it would be great
