phped / encoder / svn: how to work with them?

I code locally, in phpEd. To put my files online, I commit in a Subversion repository.

Let's say I want the files I commit to be encoded, how can I do that? I don't want to replace my plain text files locally with their encoded version, of course. Should I have to make a script that would make a backup of all plain text files, encoded the original files, commit them in Subversion and then locally replace them with the backup?

Thanks for any tips!

if this means that the site will get the files from Subversion, you have nothing to do on the client. Encoding would happen between site and subversion when it checks out the files. If you do this task with a script, you'd need to call nucoder there too.

But both Subversion and the online site run on Linux.

Does nucode encoder run on Linux?

most probably yes, all you need is Wine to run it.
