Is there a way to change file templates?

Is there way I can change file templates in the New File dialog box? I'd like to be able to do two things:

1) Add new file types
2) Change the content of the existing templated files as well as any new ones I add.

Take a look in the templates\ subdirectory beneath the PhpED installation folder Smile
