nuSOAP Requests to Virtual Hosts (fsockopen/fopen troubles)

Hey everybody,

I'm have a nuSOAP setup (sugarCRM) running on a virtual host on my site (i.e. http://crm_mysite). Apparently fopen (with HTTP wrappers enabled) and fsockopen don't work with virtual hosts. Has anybody run into this before? Any solutions out there, other that not making this under a virtual host?

Thanks!
Lucas

fopen() wrappers are not required for SOAP and in particualar for nuSoap.
You may want to make sure that server's outbound connections are allowed on remote TCP/80 port. Check firewall settings.
As a proof that it is configured properly, you may try wget on the server or something that can use HTTP.

check your httpd.conf file
look at the virtual host ServerAlias
and change myserver to
cms.myhost.com

I had an issue running a nuSOAP from a sub-domain service and that did the trick,

Cheers,
