Since last update, the DBG toolbar for chrome extension is no longer supported and has been disabled - is there another alternative? Thanks

I don't see it disabled. Just tried to remove, rebooted, then installed it back just.
In other words, it's working fine for me. Do you see anything else in your browser, please send me screenshot or publish it here

Message is;
This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.

Tip: If you inspect this page and remove the 'disabled' from the button you can still install the extension Shocked

Hi abosboom,

I didn't see this "warning". Probably google is hiding it from me. What I see is Privacy topic saying "The developer has not provided any information about the collection or usage of your data."
The extension was created long ago and it still is working fine but I forgot what and how to update in the Chrome browser extension Web store.
I filed a ticket to Google to figure out that.

Hello, sorry for delay; the message was something like "these extensions (there were more of them) are no longer supported and are disabled...."

On the extensions page, however, you still have the options to opt for keep them and then and re-enable them one by one.

Sorry for the alarm and thank you!

Google explained that this all is about manifest v2 that they have deprecated. I'll check how to update the manifest.

FYI version 1.2 of the toolbar has been submitted for Google review.
We need volunteers to test it when google publishes it on the store.
