Upload doesn't say why it doesn't work

I just installed the trial version of PHPEd.
I created a ftp account and a test php file.
When I run Upload File(s), it doesn't say or do anything?
Does anyone know why?

View > Tabs > Transfers should at least show the Transfers window and in there you should get the basic status such as Completed / Failed / etc.

Sometimes it would be nice if PhpEd gave the ability to see a little bit of the background FTP messages for when there are failures. Confused

I do find PhpEd FTP works reliably and I rarely have issues with it.
