I worked for years with purchased versions of phped. Two weeks ago I gave phped7 a try.
But today it was expired and I uninstalled the trial version of phped to get to my old purchased version again.
But it is gone. Where is the phped I payed for?

Does this mean, if a customer installs the trial version he HAS to buy it?
I have to work with the editor. Now it looks like everything is gone.

I don't know if PhpED supports an old/new version installed at same time. The settings changed quite a bit so that might cause problems. Many applications don't allow different versions installed at the same time.

By default it always installs to the same directory for each new version, overwriting the old version. I like that because it makes it easy for me to apply updates.

The PhpED installer does ask you where to install, so did you check that? That would have shown it was overwriting the old version.

You can always re-install your old version.

After uninstalling the trial version and reinstalling the old one everything was like before and fine
