Just downloaded 23009 and installed.

Ran into the usual Windows and McAfee hiccups but then had PHP8.5.8 appear to fail so thought I would ask if this is a known issue.

Did a quick Forum search for "8.5.8" but did not get a hit so thought I would post.

The install seem to finish OK and I can run PHPED but imagine when I invoke PHP8.5.8, things might go boom!

Thank you!

Glad I'm not the only one who has McAfee issues! Had the same install error. If i try and debug a PHP script, I get messages about the wrong version of DBG. I've raised a couple of support requests.[/img]

Sorry about this last-minute regression that slipped through our post-build checks.
There are actually two issues: the PHP 5.8 installer fails to run, and the embedded Srv web server remained on the v22 version,
so it doesn't pick up the v23 settings.

We're already working on fixes for both issues and expect to release build 23010 in a few hours.

Another here. v23009 is no-worky!

Looks like someone forgot to include PHP 8.5.8 in the installer package. Even after the error, it does try to complete the install, but then PhpED won't open. It just hangs at the "splash" screen.

Opened support ticket, but I never here back on those since our company's procurement department (who doesn't use the software) are the ones who have to file the ticket for us since they have the login. I wish NuSphere would fix that problem as well. They sell the Team4 package, but the 4 people that actually USE the software cannot open support tickets

For anyone following this post, I just checked the download area and build 23010 is now there, even though there was no email blast

Just installed the new version. PHP 8.5 goes in OK. You do have to manually update the settings. I received this as response to my support request:

Note: After the update, you may need to open Tools → Settings → PHP CLI and SRV Web Server, then click Reset at the bottom of each page. This will update the paths to php.exe and php-cgi.exe to PHP 8.5.

Downloaded 23010 and other than normal Windows RUN balk, it installed just fine. Ironically I did not receive any McAfee notices either! Cool!

And given this is a new major version, was expected a new DBG version @DementedGibbon

Thanks @DMITRI for fixing this quickly!!
