Tabs - icon versus name & icon

The various docked tabs around the editor for things like Workspaces, Breakpoints, Globals, Locals, etc., are a mix of icon-only and icon+name styles. Sometimes they toggle styles when I click on them to slide them out or to switch among them (depending on whether they're pinned), and sometimes they toggle when I switch layout styles. Regardless, I can't figure out how to intentionally change the style state. My screen is plenty big enough to have them all showing their names, but once they go to icon style, I can't figure out how to switch them back - I just wait for them to seemingly randomly do it on their own. I've checked the contextual menu on them, and it has nothing, and I didn't see anything in the User Environment section of the help docs.

So, how do I toggle the names off and on?

Anyone? Anyone? Did I make a mess in writing such that no one understood what I was asking?

Does that help? The last tab I clicked on is the one that shows its name, but I want all of them to show their names - especially since some (like Globals and Locals in debugging mode) share the same icon!

ok that makes it easier.

All of the tabs are docked on the same page control, you need to split them up and dock them seperately.

Do the following -

1) "Pin" the Tabs so they stay open
2) Float all the Tab seperately so that each tab resides in its own window (once it is pinned you can drag it away by click on the icon)
3) Take 1 single Tab and re-dock, now heres the key bit, un-pin it
4) Repeat step 3 for all the windows, make sure you un-pin each before docking the next one

I hope that helps Smile

Beautiful, thanks! Those icons were driving me absolutely batty Smile.

A follow-up question: is there a way to change the order of the tabs without having to redo the whole process?
