Me too. I always felt this would be standard behaviour on any text editor. At the moment if you edit one file, open and edit and close another, you'll end up editing a completely differnent file. Nuts. I work in a team of 35 developer using phped and we all want this desparately. PLEASE FIX THIS

Ctrl-Tab in v5.2 - Yay! Very Happy Many thanks!

Now all I need is for bookmarks to work nicely (Key shortcuts to (1) Toggle a bookmark on the current line, and (2) Go to next/prev bookmark) and I will be in heaven Cool

It is a built-in command just like in all MDI applications where you can switch windows by Ctrl-Tab and can't change this shortcut.
If you want to switch back to old behaviour (have Ctrl-Tab switching to the right tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab to the left one), just uncheck MDI-style file tabs switching in the IDE settings.
