SRV and utf8

Hi.

Is there a way to activate utf8 in srv.
I set my meta to <meta content=\"text/html; charset=UTF-8\" />
I created an .htacess with the line : AddDefaultCharset UTF-8
And it doesn't work with SRV and IE7.
It worked fine with wamp...

.htaccess is a file for Apache, it won't have any effect on the built in SRV
