Hi,
I've just installed version 5.0.1 and am getting a Socket Error # 11004. I have looked through the posts and found one but that it didn't help me in resolving this issue and perhaps someone can help me. I have individually installed and configured the newest versions of Apache, PHP, PHPmyAdmin, and MySQL, all of which are operating correctly however, when I try to run a simple page in PHPEd I get the socket error. I have installed every program in its default location. The site's files are located and mapped, to C:\htdocs - which is where Apache, PHP, PHPmyAdmin and MySQL programs all point too. I have included a print screen of the project setup and hope this will help resolve the issue.
Thanks in advance!

Jonathan

http:// with hostname does not produce a correct hostname. For example you can't ping or telnet to the hostname you specified.
You have to enter hostname or IP address alone, without mentioning any protocols. Latter one is known from the account type.
