I'm debugging a remote server (red hat) using ssh tunneling. It works perfectly when I launch a php script from the shell, while logged on the server by ssh.

But when I load a webpage, in a browser, the page hangs and the call never reaches phped.

Any idea why it works from the command line but not from a http call?

I found the problem, if it can help someone.

I have access to the prod server directly, but some web access need to be connected with a VPN. When I started the VPN, everything worked!
