i have connected to my remote computer which is linux and im using windows. if i click the run button of my ide i want to run the index file of my project. how can i do that? i have tried a lot, using its ip address, remote directory address but it didnt.

Hey, you can set the default file to run in the properties of your project.
So if you haven't already, create a workspace, add a project to it and then set the "Default file to run".
FYI: If you leave that field empty, PHPEd will run the file that is currently open & selected in the editor, something I prefer.
