unfortunately, upgrading by installing a later version (even minor version upgrade) I lost this setting.. is there a better way to install upgrades?

File associations can be changed during install. By default installer assigns .php and .inc to PHP4 list and asks you if you want to switch them to PHP5.

My preferences were not cleared on this update (4.6.2->4.6.3)!
![]() Rereading your post, however, I believe you were saying that on the earlier update, I had all my file associations only under php4, but adding php5 as my new default php interpreter logically cleared them. So my update here from php5->php5 (no change) caused no change. Happy either way. Just wanted to share with others if it helps. |
