now i know you have enable double clik to slect the line but that means i woudl not be ablle to double click on a word whoich i use more often but it would mbe nice if you could right click on a line and have a option that say select line.

try "double click line" option in the editor settings.
also you can start drag in the left gutter and it will select lines on the right.
