Searching while typing in the code explorer |

AFAIK it works in PhpED. Just try to type what you're looking for when focus is in the tree. In other words, select one node in the tree and try to type... Regarding "only in expanded", it may make sense for a few cases but I think people will agree with me that mostly you're looking for something that's not expanded. Thanks for other suggestions. |

1) I have found out that the search is case sensitive. That's the reason I was not able to make it work. I suggest to make it case insensitive. I have each class in its own file (e.g. ComboBoxItemGroup.php) and it would be easier not to care about the case when searching.
2) Is there any way how to cancel a search and start to search from the first letter again? Let's suppose I mistype a letter or more and want to start searching again from the first letter. In Visual Studio when you press an arrow or ESC you start searching from the first letter. In PhpEd I have to click to the editor and then back to the tree to achieve this. 3) Searching for a class while typing in the code explorer is not working. I think it's because of the "class" keyword before the class name. Could this be ommitted? The list list would be even easier to read. Thanks for otherwise excellent IDE. |
