When opening my projects, the .git folder of the project gets scanned which might take some time. Is there a way to have the editor not scan it, just to save that time? As a side effect it would also ...

I consider this awkard. This topic is more than 2 years old, and the issue still exists. I agree it's not a showstopper, and I agree it might not be Dmitri's fault, but still... I'm also suffering it ...
