This has already been suggested several times but it's still not there:

- Search for selected text without opening the search dialog. Other IDEs often use Ctrl-F3 for this.
- Find next/prev (F3, Shift-F3) loops through the document and beeps, when it has reached the initial position again (optionally).
- When noting is found: Just beep instead of popup (optionally)
- Quick search edit box in the toolbar

Are there any news about the search enhancements. I do not use PHPEd very often. But I'm always annoyed, when I have to use the search.

- I want to have Shortcut to start a search with the currently selected text without opening the search dialog box. The search setting should be the same as from the last search with the search dialog box.
- Find next/previous should loop through the document and beep when it reaches the initial position. No Popup should be displayed.
- A quick search edit box would be fine.

The settings should be optionally/additionally.
