I just installed PhpEd to try it, I was using Dreamweaver before, in Dreamweaver there was an option that automatically save local files on remote server !

but in PhpED i must save it 2 times, once locally then click upload, or save it remotely then click download, isn't there anyway that save file on both sides ?

Maybe the following will solve your problem: when you save a file remotely (upload) with Shift+Ctrl+S, then the local version is saved too.

I like PhPED's behaviour because this allows me to save the local file only (Ctrl+S) when I want, or both local and remote (Shift+Ctrl+S) when I want
