I just installed the latest version and I noticed that the code explorer doesn't seem to work? Basically, there's just no content within the window no matter what I seem to do. I'm new to this, so I'll admit it's probably just user error. =) However any pointers on what I might be doing wrong would be welcome!

please check if your project has at least one php file.
Php are the files recognized by their extension and list of extensions is on Tools->Settings->Associations page. Check extensions in PHP line and other lines if they contain duplications (they shouldn't).
Then check Workspace->your project, whether it contains the files.
After that Code Explorer should list the classes/variables/etc
If nothing helps, try to refresh it (once).
If still nothing here, contact support and provide the details
