Not an essential feature but something that might be handy for those working with remote sites updated by multiple users or otherwise.

It would be great to be able to browse the contents of a remote site and perform actions on them (eg download specific newer files) or change file permissions/create folders - essentially an FTP browser built into phpED (with SFTP support too).

you can do all that
first you have to set up some FTP account
then you go to VIEW -> TABS -> EXPLORER and there you see your account and there you can, delete, edit change file permission etc...
