I may be a bit on the slow side, but I don't see how to fire up the profiler. Where is it found in the menus?

It's in the toolbar, next to Set Breakpoint button (a hand)
You need to run debug session, perform some steps, then press the buttong to see results.
In phped 3.3, see main menu and profiler button next to RUN.
