in my opinion it would be very useful to be able to save multiline search&replace text especially when using regular expressions, cause it´s very annoying to re-think and re-type frequently used expressions over and over again or to store/manage them outside the IDE.

Anyone else who thinks this would be useful?


Another thing: Is it possible not to let the s&r window close after executing one run. Most of the time i want to run more than one s&r operation on a file. It would be great to just leave the window open to run the next s&r and when i want to close, just hit a close button (or maybe a checkbox that says: 'close after run')


Third one: When s&r window is open, why can´t select another filetab, so i can run the same operation (works only if my second 'wish' is fulfilled ) on the new selected file? (i´m aware of 'replace in opened files', but what if i have 10 files open, but only want to run the operation on 2 of them?)

You may want to try Find Next (F3) command. It will repeat last Search/Replace operation from current position toward the end of file.
