I registered to this forum just to ask why this feature haven't being implemented yet, and I find this topic. Well, count me on, this is the only thing that prevent me to buy this IDE.
I've tried many PHP editors, and each one has a major problem : indentation bugs (well... lot of them), stability problems (Maguma Open Studio), too heavy (Eclipse), no switch between PHP/HTML coloration, no support for 'Heredoc' syntax...
PhpEd has none of these problems, but still... I'm too used to Microsoft Visual Studio to use an editor without code folding, so I'm stuck with that buggy and so damn heavy Eclipse.

That's why, please, hurry and give us what we wish for Smile

Please add my vote as well. Both me and another other coder rely on code folding and have making do without, but it would be a very very very desired feature.

Hi there,

I'm all for Code Folding.
At this point I'm using a way more thin editor for PHP just because it has code folding (Notepad ++).
As I earn my money doing PHP programming (at work and at home) I will buy PHPED in an instant if it should have Code Folding.
When your code has around 3000 lines (don't blame me, I didn't write it, I just maintain it) Code Folding is a bless.

Yes,
now that I've started to develop seriously with PHP, I've noticed that code folding is really useful.

Dmitri, if you can help us, please do it!!

Totally agree with everyone here - code folding (hopefully nested) would be very useful.

A feature I would love to see with the code folding that I've not seen elsewhere is folding SQL statements or other large multi-line sections.

Syntax coloring of SQL statements would also be amazing.
