PhpEd 19 and Wine

Hello folks,

is there anybody out here who managed to run phped using wine and linux?

I didn't try newer versions, but Wine 3.0.2 thinks the installer exe format is bad. In other words it won't install PhpED. What bad and why is completely unclear. I remember it worked fine with this installer several years ago and this installer is basically the same -- InnoSetup

I used wine 4.0 (current release). The installation worked well (if did not install IE Stuff).
But PhpEd does not start (on the start window appears).

did you install it on 32bit or 64bit Linux?

It is a 64 bit linux, but I also tried the 32 bit version.

Installer is 32bit while by default Wine under 64bit Linux is also 64bit, that's why it won't run 32bit PhpED installer complaining "exe format is bad".
So it looks like 32bit Linux and 32bit product is the only combination that may *install* the product
