I have been trying to get phpDocumentor to work within my 5.5(pro) IDE. I set up a Workspace called 'Test' to this I added a simple project 'TestProject' created one folder 'code' and created a simple php file 'TestFile.php' with one function in with some comments via /** etc. I then created a new directory called 'Documentation' which is outside of the workspace (i have tried it in the workspace, but still did not work) and from the project settings dialog->Custom I pointed phpDoc_target_dir to this new 'Documentation' folder (full path: J/Documentation).

From the workspace I right-click on the 'project 'TestProject' (contains 1 folder 'code' which holds my 1 php file 'TestFile.php') and selected PHP Documentor.
This is what I get:
Error 'Can not open file 'J/Documentation' (Clicked OK) then:
Error 'Can not open file 'TestProject' (Clicked OK) then:
Error 'Can not open 'J/TestProject' (prj source folder) (Clicked OK) then:
Error 'Can not open file 'Generated Documentation' (Clicked OK) then:
Progress bar completed then I got an output window saying 'Firefox can't find the file at /J:/Documentation/index.html?DBGSESSID=-1.'

I've read several posts, all seem related, but none with this problem described.

Any help || suggestions appreciated.

J/Documentation does not look like a full path at all.

Please enter correct path and it won't bother you with 'Can not open file 'J/Documentation' error.

Then run and make sure that index.html is created in J:\Documentation\ directory.

Sorry that was my mistake the path is J:/Documentation and should read as such in all places within my original post.

still, windows likes forward slashes, so please give J:\Documentation a try.
If you still get any problems, please submit the screenshots to support team.

Please note that in some cases PhpDocumentor won't work with network disks. If J:\ is a network disk, I'd highly recommend to try C:\ first.
