we have been using PHPEd since last 7 years.
we are currently starting complete project refactoring in PHP 5.5.
I know, PHP 5.5 is in alpha4 stage at the moment, but we hoped that we can use debugger that is working with PHP 5.4.
However it cannot load (server module).

Is it possible to use debugger for 5.4 also with PHP 5.5?
If not, when will be enabled support for that?
We dont want to degrade PHP version...

I think you owe us an answer. We need PHP 5.5 support, what's the estimate?

And you could have spent one minute to answer this with a simple Yes/No:

For obvious reason -- the incompatibility in ABI between php binaries of different verisons, no php extension can be used interchangeably, and debugger is not an exception.

As of support for php-5.5 debugging, this is what will come with next version.

I am also looking for this debugger. We have upgraded our local servers to test this new release. No way to debug yet. Alpha release would be OK anything to get our coders up and running.

@monkies - not sure what your problem is exactly, but having upgraded to PHPEd 10, I am able to use 5.5 dbg module without a problem. Will be happy to assist you.
