It would be a great feature.
You press Ctrl+O(or what do you like), and enter part of filename in small dialog window, press enter, and have your file opened |

I would very much appreciate a feature like this too. An example with a screenshot is the GotoFile plugin for Eclipse http://muermann.org/gotofile/. The first image is a simple screenshot of it in action.

I was about to request this. Often devs know the filename or part of the filename, but it takes a long time to navigate to the right folder, so a feature like this would be AWESOME.
