Non english characters: KOI8 ok but what about WINDOWS-1251?

I see that with koi8-r support it is working but some people work in win1251 encoding which cannot be set. Is there plans to support it?

In case of Win1251, you have to replace ru_RU.KOI8-R with ru_RU.CP1251. See tip-non-english-characters-in-phped-3-2-for-linux-t185.html for koi8 settings.

The only setting should not be altered is code page for the font. It has to remain koi8.
