That is already supported.
When you do a search in files, whilst the search is running there is a progress dialog with a tickbox for Close on finish. Untick that box so that the progress dialog stays on-screen when the search has finished. You can now perform additional searches and you will get additional sets of search results. ![]() |

@plugnplay - Thanks for that tip! It certainly helps, but (a) that's a very obscure way of doing things, and (b) Not too good on the usability side. However - it's a great workaround for the moment. Just a little more work from NuSphere - I'm sure they have nothing better to do...

With some searches, i cant untick the "close on finish" box quick enough before the search has finished !

It was requested by me loong ago. This is a "must have" feature in big projects. Take a look at Visual Studio how it works there. |
