Microsoft SQL Server 2008

I am using v5.95 5980eval and trying to establish a DB Client to SQL Server 2008. Docs says it supports SQL server, but not versions. Can I get ODBC working with SQL client? If so, I cannot locate documentation for this.

I have an ODBC connection setup through Windows Data Sources that is working. Not sure if that helps or not.

When I try to connect in PHPED I get

Sql Server Error [DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen(Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

I am getting the same error trying to connect to my mySQL database as 'root', no-password, localhost
mysql version: 5.1.41
phpEd: 5.95 build 5987

also, I am running Xampp (for apache, mysql) Ver 1.7.3

OK, my bad.
I mistakenly selected MSSQL rather than MYSQL...
simply recreated it with the correct database type... error gone Wink
