I just wanted to add a dissenting vote.
Please don't get me wrong - I understand that you chose not to use Windows for your reasons and this is alright. I also understand that you'd like to see a Mac version of PhpED, but the vast majority of NuSphere's customers are Windows users - as I am - and I want to see further development of the Windows version.

A Mac version needs a lot of development which costs a lot of money and I just don't want to see the money I spent to be invested into the development of a Mac version I won't use.

This sure would decrease the resources that will be used to further develop the Windows version.

Clearly NuSphere likes to sell (more) copies of their product to Mac and Linux users. One of the reasons might be the growth of Mac and Linux users among the PHP development community.

If their business objective would be to only reach M$ windows based PHP developers, why invest any time at all into creating a 'Parallels compatible' version?

New features also cost money that do not inadvertently lead to more sales, creating a cross platform version will most likely lead to more sales since your market grows. Werther it's beneficial to create a cross platform version.... it might not be ( costs vs extra sales ).

I will keep using PHPEd along with Parallels. However, as soon as another Mac OS based product comes along, that offers similar features and experience as PHPEd (and increases my productivity), they will most likely loose me as a customer (nothing personal, just business).
