I have been using other editors with the Fira Code font that support ligatures and now I cannot go back to write code with it. For example VSCode, needs to be enabled on the settings, now I write most of the PHP code on VSCode then debug and fine tune it on PHPEd. I think PHPEd is almost there, because when code or comments are folded and the mouse is hovered on the folded section, the popup code shows with ligatures!
