php-cgi.exe - Entry Point not found

The procedure entry point zend_hex_strtod could not be located in the dynamic link library php5ts.dll

Any ideas whats going wrong?

I recommend to make sure that php.exe directory is listed in PATH or php5ts.dll is copied to Apache's bin directory.

Where is phpEd's apache dir? And where is the path variable?

Based on our email exchange the following seems to have worked:
It looks like you have multiple installations of Apache and PHP - e.g.
XAMP and TechPlatform etc.
Please try getting rid of PHPRC environemnt variable and registry entry
IniFilePath in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PHP, reboot and try again. If
it doesn't help please try to reinstall
