Hi- Ive just installed V8, I previously was using 5.9.5

V8 has a very dark appearance, the borders are very dark grey or black, and the buttons/tabs etc are black with white text. Black background with white text is a big no no for me, i cant see it properly!!

Is there a way to change the UI to the same as it was in V5 ? If not, i will have to uninstall this as i simply cannot see it

The toolbars are also dark blue where they used to be light grey. I just cannot understand why any company would make software that doesnt look and feel the same as other windows software.

Do you mean the whole screen is black or just some parts of it? There are some dark blue areas between the panels with white textl looks fine on my screen and I quite like it because it separates out the panels. If your screen is quite dark then it it may look black. Have a look in the View > Look and Feel menu and try one of the other options.
