javascript source highlight problem

I've found a minor problem with the source code highlighting. It does not recognise the php tages in a javascript function.

example (do not look at the code itself because it is ugly as hell, not mine)

is there any ETA on when this will be fixed?
I'm asking because i reported it on 10th of April and my support will run out on the 17th of May.
