So, whenever I try to insert multiline text into a comment block, it just kills it and I have to manually correct each line. Any chance for a fix?

I'm not sure why you think phped should "fix" something that you paste from the clipboard

You are inside a starred (doctype?) comment block. You insert something, if it's multiline, it breaks the comment block. Is that useful? If so, why?

Also, if you are modifying the function argument list and a comment block already exists, describing the function's uses and paramteres, the comment block should automatically reflect the changes. If a shortcut exists for this, please let me know.

Whilst *sometimes* I would like to see this as well, I can also understand why PhpED does not do it. I've looked at various other editors and none of them did that either, they just pasted whatever I had as-is. If it was a feature, it would probably have to be a different key press.

Then this shouldn't be called a "fix" but a feature request.
