Hi, I got both the server and client running after several hours..= ]
However, the command line interface of the dbg client is just like gdb..
I am currently working on a winPC and ssh into a redhat box where i use emacs to write my php code, and debug via ie browser.

1st. sourceforge and freshmeat did not have any documentation for this project.
2nd. is there a better front end gui? that I can use to run under the circumstances described above?
3rd.!NICE job with product. looking forward to really getting into it!

Thanks!!!

Ok, I have :
https://yourwebhost/yourscript.php?DBGSESSID=1@clienthost:7869
I get..
Code:

DBG

Failed to start debug session

reason:
failed to establish connection to client host on 192.168.0.45:7869

problem is, I'm using http(s) and I saw somewhere:
Quote:
NOTE: if submit or navigation is done to a different domain name or with different protocol used (HTTPS vs HTTP) debug session won't run

So..can i get this to work?![/code]

while you have ULR formed this way, cookies play no role and switching http<->https does not affect ability to debug. I guess the problem is with your host (192.168.0.4Cool which is located in intranet while the web site is out of the intranet and therefore your network is not accesible from the WEB. You have to use SSH tunneling to pass through. See FAQ on how to set it up.
