I would like to know.

Are the IDE and the PHP remote debugger module using the same port number ?

I am trying now to debug into Windows 10 WLS, which implies doing “remote” debugging on actually the same computer (trying to access the Linux sub-filesystem contents through the Windows filesystem is discouraged and may lead to data losses).

But I have problems running the Project Settings Wizard for that, and I suspect this may be due to a port # conflict.

If needed, how can I change the listening port number for the IDE or (preferably, because I also debug other computers) for the PHP remote debugger module, especially in CLI-only mode ?

Just changing debugger.ports=7869 to some other port number in the PHP config doen't seem to be enough.

You also need to change the debug listener port in PhpED Settings > Run & Debug > Settings > Debugger Listener > Debugger port

Not sure if that becomes active immediately or if you need to restart PhpED to force the debug listener to restart.
